Hello, my name is Ginny Chambliss.
I am a retired teacher who is living my dream, which is to help others who have the desire to seek a state of well-being. I believe in order for us to achieve that state, we must nurture the whole body.
As I studied and taught science, I discovered so much about the world God created and the purpose of all the elements He designed to take care of us and to sustain our lives.
I am no medical doctor, nor do I profess to know it all! I have done a TON of research and trials to know more about herbs and plants and how they can benefit the health of the human body. I want to share what I've learned with you!
After spending years of researching the use and benefits of herbs, I decided to find ways to help others. Some plants are best to ingest, others are more beneficial applied topically, and there are many that can be used both ways! It all depends on how they are prepared.
I have created products from ingredients that are organically grown and prepared to use in skin products. I don't randomly buy ingredients from a store where I am not familiar with the brands. I prefer to purchase from small organic farms and vineyards. Their prices are a little higher, but the product is superior to the ones that are grown and prepared by using synthetic compounds. There is a company I buy my sweet almond oil from who requires a signature when it is delivered :)
As I introduce more products, they will be included on the Products page. You can order the products by completing the order form on the Orders page.
When I was planning and designing my logo, the name came to me long before the image. I was raised in a Christian home where I watched my father in his daily walk with God. He was a servant to God, first, and to others, second. He wasn't perfect, but he served a perfect God and loved Jesus and his relationship with Him! That is the legacy my father left us when he left this world. I want to serve God first and foremost, "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." I want to serve others, "thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Matthew 22:37-40 KJV. I want A Servant's Heart!
The image is a honey bee with a heart in the upper abdomen. For all of you bee enthusiasts, I know a bee's heart is actually a tube that runs from a bee's abdomen to its head but there is a reason I placed a heart here. It is relating the servitude of a bee to the servitude of man. When my husband, Jimmy and I were researching and learning about beekeeping, we started with the behavior of the bees and their nature to build and protect their home, the colony. In the colony, the queen's service is to lay eggs (brood), while the drone (male) is to mate with the queen and fertilize the eggs. The workers (female) do EVERYTHING else to keep the colony functioning: guards, nurses, foragers, architects, housekeepers, ventilators, and repairers. Every servant in the colony has a very important job to do, and the life of the colony depends on each one.
Just like our families, churches, work places, we all have responsibilities to the specific entities. If one person fails to serve, then the structure weakens. If the whole fails to serve one another, then the structure fails. In a bee colony, the bees will leave (abscond). In human terms, the entity will deteriorate. I want to do my part to help others. I want to learn and share with others how they can help themselves, and in turn, help others also.
